Topglass Aurora
Heat Reflecting
Translucent Roofing
Introduction
Alsynite NZ Ltd's Research and
Development division has long
recognised the concerns faced by
business in relation to
increasing energy costs, and the
need for Building Designers to
provide cost effective natural
lighting systems for the
workforce. Unfortunately
increased light transmission
generally means significant
solar heat transmission with a
resultant increase in Air
conditioning costs.
Alsynite NZ Ltd has solved this
problem with the launch of
Topglass Aurora, a unique and
innovative new heat reflective
product which provides an
acceptable solution in both
reducing air conditioning and
electricity costs whilst
providing Long term effective
natural light transmission
Topglass Aurora Utilises strips
of aluminised metallic foil
which is included in the
structure of the roof sheeting
to reflect damaging heat whilst
continuing to provide effective
natural light.

Heat reflective surface
The heat reflecting properties
of Topglass Aurora are a direct
result of the unique striped
metallic non - delaminating
surface which is applied to the
underside of the GRP roof
sheeting. The product is
specifically designed to reflect
the heat away from the building
