developed heat reflective
translucent glass reinforced
polyester sheeting which is
identified by its Ultra
White finish;

transmitting diffused
natural light to the

light, Topglass Cool
reflects unnecessary solar
heat and virtually
eliminates harmful

retained for longer periods

Heat Reflective Surface
Topglass Cool has an Ultra White
reflective surface.
The function of the coating is
to allow natural diffused light
through the sheet while at the
same time reflecting the bulk of
the solar heat away from the
building interior. Heat is
retained for longer periods
within a building during the
winter months. The effectiveness
of Topglass Cool is shown in the
Heat and Light Transmission
table.

Surface Coatings
For added protection and to
provide excellent serviceable
life, Topglass Cool is supplied
with a heavy duty Du Pont® UV
stabilised weather surface
coating.
Topglass Cool can also be
supplied as Topglass Ultra Cool
and Topglass Cool GC (Gel coat).

Topglass Cool is available in
Ultra White finish only.

Operating Temperature
The operating temperature range
of Topglass Cool is - 20º C to
+95º C.

Fire Retardant
Topglass Cool can be supplied as
fire retardant sheeting.

Where trafficability is of
concern contact Alsynite for
specific technical support.

UVA and UVB transmission
Topglass Cool provides blocking
of 99.9% UVA and 100% UVB
harmful Ultra Violet light*.

Specification
The Translucent roofing shall be
Topglass Cool Ultra White
reinforced Polyester roof
sheeting as manufactured by
Alsynite NZ Ltd to comply with
AS/NZS 4256.3 JAS-ANZ
Certification Licence No 2349
The sheeting shall be
.........g/m2 or .........mm and
manufactured to conform to the
nominated roofing and cladding
profile. Installation shall be
carried out in accordance with
the requirements of AS/NZS
1562.3: 1994, NZ Roofing Code of
Practice and Alsynite NZ Ltd
Technical catalogue.

Care must be taken when handling
and installing the product to
avoid stress damage and/or
scratching of the surface.
